MATEC Electronics offers MS series of thread-coupled connectors designed to meet the operating requirements of MIL-DTL-5015. Available in a variety of styles and classes, these connectors are primarily used in a range of military and industrial applications where specific degrees of environmental protection are required.


Amphenol 97B connectors offered by MATEC Electronics feature a quick mating bayonet coupling with an audible full mating feature. This series uses the same MIL-DTL-5015 insert patterns and are used in high shock and vibration environments encountered in commercial, geophysical, aerospace, ground support and shipboard applications.


Addition to all above types, Amphenol Aerospace's MIL-DTL-5015 with crimp rear release contacts offered by MATEC Electronics provides an alternative to the older MIL-C-5015 solder type.  It bridges the gap between an old connector standard and the high performance needs of current technologies.


VG95234 GCA/B connectors are German protocols of the same norm. These connectors with reverse bayonet coupling are conform to the VG95234 standard. Offering a high liability, they are coevally waterproof and resistant to vibrations and wear. They use the same installation dimensions and contact arrangements as connectors according to MIL-DTL-5015.  All VG95234 designs are basically equipped with an individual wire sealing grommet. If VG95234 connectors are required with modifications, e.g. with solder contacts or other shell- or contact plating, they have to be ordered with GCB-B designation. Common applications include military sector, industrial plants and railway vehicles as well as propulsion technologies, machine tools, measurement and robotics.
